Sunday 5th MOQ HOT CHILLI RUN

This is Michael Moore’s, now famous, (or infamous) Hot Chilli Run. I am reliably told it is “Not To Be Missed” so book the diary now and come along for the first event of the year. (Please note all times are Queensland times).

Meeting at Mudgeeraba showground (GC Refidex p47 Q13)

Departure at 8:00am

Finishing up at Tamborine for lunch.

Sunday 26th MOQ TWILIGHT RUN and MEETING

The twilight run is planned to avoiding the heat of the day. We will be ending at Deception Bay, where it is cool, for something light to eat. Come along as, traditionally, this has been an excellent enjoyable get-together.

Please advise numbers to assist the Cafe planning for seating, etc.

Meet at the Car park at the corner of Park Parade & Swan Street, Shorncliffe

Departure 5:30pm.

We will end up at Mermaids Café, 2 Bayview Terrace, Deception Bay for dinner.

Saturday 12th & Sunday 13th MORGANS AT MORGAN PARK and MOQ MEETING Something different and a chance to meet up with our southern colleagues. Saturday will entail a picturesque run through little known places ending at Stanthorpe after midday where we will overnight.We will share afternoon tea with the Sydney-siders, then invite them to join us for a short run to see some special local sites and a shared dinner in Stanthorpe.Sunday will be “Morgans at Morgan Park” where we will have a special place whilst the historic racing takes place and our team may stay as long or as little as they wish before heading home.Details of potential accommodation to be forwarded shortly to enable early booking.

Saturday 12th & Sunday 13th MOQ CHRISTMAS IN JULY A late morning start ending at Mt Tambourine for a “Christmas in July Dinner” with another pleasant run on the Sunday.

Those not wishing to overnight at Tambourine or are unable to join us for the runs are welcome to meet us at the restaurant for dinner.

 Another overnighter with accommodation in Warwick and a grandstand parking and viewing site on the back straights of the Leyburn sprints (actually, it’s Christine Stevens Brother’s house and yard).

For those who missed the dinner and wedding in Warwick last year (2011) we promise bigger and better things for the Saturday night entertainment.
