Events are held approximately monthly, our Secretary distributes details by email to members. Whilst every effort is made to adhere to the dates set out in the calendar, these may change due to unforeseen circumstances. All club members are encouraged to volunteer to organise events. All Morgan owners and enthusiasts are invited and welcome to join all events.

When gentlemen wore flat caps and cravats, Ladies wore Helmets and Hats ITINERARY SATURDAY 12.00pm Lunch – The Clock and Bull Brewery – 9917 New England Highway Cabarlah. A Bavarian style chalet gastro brewery with a collection of vintage Cuckoo clocks. A busy venue on the NE Highway – enter rear carpark via Evans Road adjacent to the venue. A long table is reserved inside or weather permitting, alfresco dinning outside – see menu at foot of itinerary. 2.00pm Pioneer Village – 73 Wirraglen Road Highfields – 5km from the Clock and Bull. The Village comprises over 50 historic buildings spread over 15 acres. Free golf buggy transport is provided to the QLD Transport, Southern Cross and Machinery Museums, providing an easy walk through the village to afternoon tea. 3.00pm Afternoon Tea – freshly cooked damper from Village Bakery, served with traditional Billy Tea in the Woolshed Café (a range of beverages and cakes also available). As the Village is extensive, and time limited, I’ve negotiated free admission on the Monday if extending your stay – retain your armband for re-admission. 4.00pm Depart for City Golf Club Motel – 775 Ruthven Street (NEH) Toowoomba, Greenside accommodation, undercover parking – 10 quality rooms booked under MOQ 5.00pm Happy Hour – City Golf Club Motel – BYO beverages and nibbles 6.00pm City Golf Club restaurant – newly renovated/extended – 254 South Street Toowoomba. Free Uber transport to and from motel to club. 6.30pm Dinner overlooking the golf course – reserved table – order and pay – good range of meals. Return to motel via Uber at your leisure – early night for an early start Sunday SUNDAY From 6.00am Breakfast is your choice – table is booked at Cafe63 – 801 Ruthven Street Toowoomba. A short 200m walk from the motel – fresh coffee, legendary breakfasts, friendly staff 8.00am Checkout of Motel – convoy departure for David Hack Classic, Vintage Warbirds, Classic Cars 8.30am Arrive Old Toowoomba Airport – Aerotek Hanger – Spitfire Street Toowoomba – enter via Exhibitors Lane – park in reserved high-profile area, next to warplanes, in front of main hanger – exhibitors $10 per vehicle – parking attendant will assist. Enjoy the classic, vintage racing cars, aircraft and warplanes, historic trucks and military vehicles, motorcycles etc - food, coffee and drink stalls – adventure flights etc. NOTE ! Many exhibitors dress in their vehicle’s vintage classic clothing. As we’ve been granted a high profile position, flat caps & cravats are definitely the “go” or in the “period”, for great photo opportunities. A feature of this year’s show is the restoration in progress of the Supermarine Spitfire Mark 1A X4009, flown by Flight Lieutenant Pat Hughes DFC, Australia’s highest scoring fighter ace in the Battle of Britain, as part of the “Hunter Collection”. 2.00pm Conclusion – return home or stay a second night, for a leisurely drive home Monday.
